Hello everyone,

Welcome to the Inspire Youth Journal, a global platform dedicated to youth journalism, connecting young people worldwide who are passionate about current global issues and fostering peace.

With a multicultural team of over 190 writers from more than 40 countries, including the United Kingdom, United States, Vietnam, India, Ghana, Nigeria, and many others, we celebrate diverse perspectives. Over 120 of our contributors have received distinguished recognition in the John Locke Institute’s Global Essay Prize, the Queen’s Commonwealth Essay Competition, the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards, and other prestigious awards, including the Rise Global Winner and the Diana Award. Inspire Youth Journal is honored to publish articles by students from world-leading universities, including Harvard University, the University of Chicago, the University of Manchester, and the National University of Singapore.

We are also proud that many of our high school writers have been admitted to and are currently studying at prestigious institutions, among them the Wharton School, University College London, the London School of Economics and Political Science, Imperial College London, Sorbonne University, Sciences Po, NYU Abu Dhabi, and Oxford Brookes University (Media, Journalism and Publishing), etc.

The John Locke Institute, which organizes one of the world’s most prestigious essay competitions, described the publication of their alumni’s articles in the Inspire Youth Journal as a “success” and a “fantastic achievement.” See here for more details.

Furthermore, one of our writers had the privilege of serving as a judge at The Queen’s Commonwealth Essay Competition 2025 and was honored with a Valued Judge award.

At Inspire Youth Journal, we are committed to empowering young voices through informed discourse on international affairs. Our monthly themes are designed to promote exploration and facilitate dialogue on critical topics impacting youth today.
