It was amazing! Having over 150 young people from 24 provinces and cities in Vietnam as well as registrants and participants from as far away as the United States, Canada, and Australia was a remarkable achievement for the Summer Talkshow “Inspiring Vietnamese Youth with the Art of Writing,” which took place online on August 3rd. It provided a composite picture of the experiences that enriched the talkshow and served as a testament to the importance and impact that the talkshow had on young writers.
The Guest Speakers shared their valuable knowledge and experiences on the following topics:
1. Inspire Youth Journal (Helen & Emma)
2. Developing Effective Writing Skills (Apolline)
3. Stardust Scribes; Poetry – Creation & Its Nuances (Thomas)
4. Mastering the John Locke Essay Competition (Elsa)
The talkshow was a vibrant gathering of young minds, full of ideas, each with a unique story to tell, united by their passion for writing. Through their sharing, the speakers hope to inspire youth to use writing as a tool for self-expression and creativity. Each written word can act as a beacon, guiding young people to discover their voices in this ever-evolving world. It helps them shape their thinking, step out of their comfort zones, and advocate for different social and global issues and find solutions to them. Finally, there is an open Q&A session at the end to encourage questions and invite new ideas.
