Inspire Youth Journal—a Global Platform for Youth Journalism—is the student-led monthly newspaper founded and developed by Inspire Youth Debate and Vietnam Public Forum Academy for youth in Vietnam and all over the world who wish to stay informed about the latest news and learn about current global issues. It helps young people become equipped with the necessary knowledge that would be helpful when debating.
After expanding to India, IYJ has successfully spread to many other countries such as United Kingdom, United States, Turkey, Nigeria, Ghana, Hong Kong, Taiwan, South Korea, Qatar, Kenya, Pakistan, Brazil, Spain, Japan, France, Canada, Zimbabwe, etc with the participation of more than 40 high school and college students from various countries, all who have won prizes in one of the most prestigious essay writing competitions in the world.
On this occasion, IYJ would like to introduce Lucie Kealey/ University of Manchester, England, United Kingdom as our newest writer:
“First Year English Langauge student at the University of Manchester. Recent all-round scholar graduate from Gordonstoun School. Aspiring lawyer; looking to specialise in corporate and commercial law, with interests in criminal, family and environmental law.”
Her Achievements:
- Finalist (shortlisted) for the 2024 John Locke Essay Competition (Oxford and Princeton)
- Winner of the Keith Barry Award for outstanding drama performance
- Appointed Head Girl at Gordonstoun School
- Qualified volunteer fire fighter
- Recieved a summer scholarship to attend the InvestIn Young Lawyer Summer Programme
