INTRODUCING OUR NEWSPAPER WRITER (MERCY OLANREWAJU/ Year 13, A-Level Student, Newstead Wood School, Orpington, England, United Kingdom) OF INSPIRE YOUTH JOURNAL

INSPIRE YOUTH JOURNAL–a Global Platform for Youth Journalism–is a monthly newspaper in Vietnam founded and developed by Vietnam Public Forum Academy and Inspire Youth Debate for youth in Vietnam and all over the world who wish to stay informed about the latest news and learn about current global issues.

Our newspaper is international, with 60+ writers from 30+ countries such as the United Kingdom, United States, Vietnam, India, Turkey, Taiwan, Nigeria, Hong Kong, Qatar, Brazil, South Korea, Kenya, Pakistan, Zimbabwe, Spain, France, Japan, Canada, Peru, South Africa, United Arab Emirates, Cambodia, Indonesia, Tanzania, Poland, Ghana, Uganda, etc, over thirty of whom have been shortlisted and awarded higher prizes for one of the most prestigious essay competitions, the John Locke Institute’s 2024 and 2023 Global Essay Prize, and other distinguished essay competitions.

We aim to help young people become equipped with necessary knowledge and learn more about the world with a variety of relevant topics each month.

On this occasion, IYJ would like to introduce Mercy Olanrewaju/ Year 13, A-Level Student, Newstead Wood School, Orpington, England, United Kingdom as our newest Newspaper Writers:

“I am Mercy Olanrewaju, an A-Level student, currently studying Economics, Mathematical and Chemistry. I have a particular interest and passion for economic, as well as its effect on the politics of a country, and vice versa. I am also a John Locke Institute finalist, with my Economics essay, which received a merit award.  I am also a member of my school’s Economic Journal, and have contributed to it in the form of essays, which deliberate on the economic climate of different countries,” said Mercy.
