INTRODUCING OUR NEWSPAPER WRITER (Sofía Ramos Zugasti/ Year 13, Hastings School Madrid, Madrid, SPAIN) OF INSPIRE YOUTH JOURNAL

Inspire Youth Journal—a Global Platform for Youth Journalism—is the student-led monthly newspaper founded and developed by Inspire Youth Debate and Vietnam Public Forum Academy for youth in Vietnam and all over the world who wish to stay informed about the latest news and learn about current global issues. It helps young people become equipped with the necessary knowledge that would be helpful when debating.

After expanding to India, IYJ has successfully spread to many other countries such as United Kingdom, United States, Turkey, Nigeria, Ghana, Hong Kong, Taiwan, South Korea, Qatar, Kenya, Pakistan, Brazil, Spain, Japan, France, Canada, Zimbabwe, etc with the participation of more than 40 high school and college students from various countries, all who have won prizes in one of the most prestigious essay writing competitions in the world.

On this occasion, IYJ would like to introduce Sofía Ramos Zugasti/ Year 13, Hastings School Madrid, Madrid, Spain as our newest writer:

“Driven by a deep belief in the power of ethical leadership and policy, Sofía Ramos is a passionate sixth-form student at Hastings School in Madrid, aspiring to study PPE at university. Passionate about the intersection of these fields, she sees journalism as a vital tool for promoting transparency and informed discourse on global issues. Her work for the Financial Times and pursuing five A Levels and EPQ have deepened her understanding of the media’s influence in shaping public opinion and policy and have strengthened her commitment to using journalism and education as vehicles for positive change. She is excited to start writing for the IYJ and can’t wait to share her thoughts with the world.”
