INTRODUCING OUR NEWSPAPER WRITER (Hai Lam (Apple) Nham Ngoc/ 7th grader, Tran Dai Nghia High School for the Gifted, Ho Chi Minh City, VIETNAM) OF INSPIRE YOUTH JOURNAL

Inspire Youth Journal—a Global Platform for Youth Journalism—is the student-led monthly newspaper founded and developed by Inspire Youth Debate and Vietnam Public Forum Academy for youth in Vietnam and all over the world who wish to stay informed about the latest news and learn about current global issues. It helps young people become equipped with the necessary knowledge that would be helpful when debating.

After expanding to India, IYJ has successfully spread to many other countries such as United Kingdom, United States, Turkey, Nigeria, Ghana, Hong Kong, Taiwan, South Korea, Qatar, Kenya, Pakistan, Brazil, Spain, Japan, France, Canada, Zimbabwe, etc with the participation of more than 40 high school and college students from various countries, all who have won prizes in one of the most prestigious essay writing competitions in the world.

On this occasion, IYJ would like to introduce Hai Lam (Apple) Nham Ngoc/ 7th grader, Tran Dai Nghia High School for the Gifted, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam as our newest writer:

“Hello, my name is Nham Ngoc Hai Lam (Apple). I am a rising 7th grade in Tran Dai Nghia High School for the Gifted. I am an aspiring writer and am hoping to apply for the newspaper writer position for Inspire Youth. I have always been focused on creative writing. However, I would love to try my hands on journalism as it is a way for me to step out of my comfort zone and become a better version of myself.

I love to explore about philosophy, dreams, youth psychology and many other controversial topics. I believe that being a member of the Inspire Youth Journal as a newspaper writer could provide me with an oppportunity to help me improve my writing skills while being able to write articles share knowledge to the readers.

Her major achievements:

– John Locke global essay competition 2024 finalist (Junior catagory)

– High distinction certificate in creative writing in Lumina Camp (awarded by international bestselling novelist Nguyen Phan Que Mai)

– Published short story “The true heirloom” on The Penlogue literary journal
