INTRODUCING OUR NEWSPAPER WRITER (Mahathi Sathish/ FLAME University, INDIA) OF INSPIRE YOUTH JOURNAL

Inspire Youth Journal—a Global Platform for Youth Journalism—is the student-led monthly newspaper founded and developed by Inspire Youth Debate and Vietnam Public Forum Academy for youth in Vietnam and all over the world who wish to stay informed about the latest news and learn about current global issues. It helps young people become equipped with the necessary knowledge that would be helpful when debating.

After expanding to India, IYJ has successfully spread to many other countries such as United Kingdom, United States, Turkey, Nigeria, Ghana, Hong Kong, Taiwan, South Korea, Qatar, Kenya, Pakistan, Brazil, Spain, Japan, France, Canada, Zimbabwe, etc with the participation of more than 40 high school and college students from various countries, all who have won prizes in one of the most prestigious essay writing competitions in the world.

On this occasion, IYJ would like to introduce Mahathi Sathish/ FLAME University, India as our newest writer:

“Mahathi Sathish is a student from India, passionate about understanding human communication. She believes in words and not things, and hopes to inculcate elements of traditional storytelling to benefit modern business ventures. You can find her work published in 90nine, ZNotes Blog, TeenInk, and Friday Flash Fiction amongst others.”

Her achievements:

– Shortlisted in Philosophy, the 2023 John Locke Essay Competition (Oxford & Princeton)

– Top 64 , the 2022 New York University’s International Public Policy Forum in the year 2022

– An honourable mention by the New York Times, the 2022 Tiny Personal Memoir contest (one of over 12,000 submissions which was selected and the only one picked from India)
