Tariq Lawal is a multifaceted creative who uses his diverse writing skills as a tool for change and to inspire others. From poetry to journalism, Tariq explores different genres to inform, challenge, and inspire action.

He has written for The Stanford Daily, UNICEF, Yale Daily News, and Medicinal Media, among others. His work has been recognized with the Silver Award of the Queen’s Commonwealth Essay Competition and a commendation in the 2024 John Locke Global Essay Prize. In 2024, he was honored with the Diana Award and recognized by Global Citizen as an Emerging Creative.
