Quang Minh Tran

Newspaper Writer

“Hi! I’m Quang Minh. I’m a 7th-grade student at Nguyen Tri Phuong Secondary School in Hue City.

I am curious and ambitious, with a strong desire to explore various fields, particularly science, history, and geography. These interests have motivated me to write articles that not only enhance my understanding but also contribute to the broader discussion in these areas.

My dream is to gain admission to Harvard University in the United States and become a successful neurosurgeon. In addition to my academic aspirations, I have a deep passion for solving the Rubik’s Cube, and I’ve been working hard to improve my skills. Currently, I average solving it in under 25 seconds, and I am working to improve my skills further, aiming for a sub-10-second finish.  This journey has been enjoyable and educational, as it has taught me valuable lessons in persistence and problem-solving.

In addition to my interests in academics and the Rubik’s Cube, I also enjoy watching documentaries and learning interesting facts on YouTube. I like to explore many subjects, from amazing stories and historical events (especially those related to wars) to crime cases and shocking discoveries. I consider myself quite careful because it takes me a long time to select a topic and figure out how to write about it. Although this can slow me down, it helps me create the best articles I can.

My motivation for submitting my first journal to Inspire Youth Journal is to share interesting information and facts with the world. By sharing knowledge, I hope to help others learn and grow. At the same time, I can improve my own writing and research skills.

I often remind myself of a personal quote: “When you write an article, you’re a writer – but when it’s published, you’re a genius.” This quote inspires me to keep writing and to pursue my dreams.

Last but not least, I would like to express my deep gratitude to Inspire Youth Journal for encouraging me and providing constructive feedback on my writing journey. This support means a lot to me.

Thank you very much!” said Quang Minh.
