“Hi I’m Mahek! I’m currently on a gap year, using this time to explore my interest in international relations and foreign policy. I recently participated in the John Locke Visiting Scholars Programme, where I gained a deeper understanding of global issues and how policy, philosophy, economics, and diplomacy intersect. Beyond my academic interests, I enjoy broadening my horizons, whether it’s through reading, travelling, or immersing myself in different cultures and languages. This year will be a chance for me to grow both personally and professionally, and I’m looking forward to where it will take me next.
