We are honored to announce Kiana Novey as an Honorary Ambassador of our INSPIRE YOUTH JOURNAL – A Global Platform for Youth Journalism!

Kiana Novey is a student at Kalani High School in Honolulu, Hawaiʻi and a 2026 regional winner of the Harvard Crimson Global Essay Competition. She is an emerging student researcher and writer with a strong interest in law, public policy, and environmental innovation. Her work focuses on sustainable materials and climate solutions, reflecting a broader commitment to addressing pressing global challenges.

Through her academic and research pursuits, Kiana explores interdisciplinary approaches to sustainability, with particular attention to equitable solutions for island communities. She is passionate about using writing and research as tools to inform policy, raise awareness, and contribute to meaningful change.
