Bernardo Renner

We are honored to announce Bernardo Renner as an Honorary Ambassador of our INSPIRE YOUTH JOURNAL – A Global Platform for Youth Journalism!

Bernardo Renner is an award-winning young innovator and student from Gravataí, Rio Grande do Sul, recognized for his impactful work in youth environmentalism and social entrepreneurship. He is best known for developing “Hada,” a plant-based bioplastic bandage designed to replace traditional plastic bandages. Alongside his peer Ísis Valentin, he won the continental title of Best Sustainable Project in Central and South America by The Earth Prize (world’s largest environmental competition for students) for creating their plant-based, regenerative bandage using aloe vera and chamomile.

Also, Bernardo has a strong passion for tech and social impact. He leads “Atrián,” a student-run initiative and tech lab focused on building accessible websites, automating systems, and providing digital solutions for local communities and NGOs. As a vocal advocate for youth-led change, he frequently addresses small businesses and vulnerable communities, creating educational content and leading projects toward many Gravataí institutions to inspire other young entrepreneurs.

Congratulations! We are so proud of him.
