“Writing, to me, is both a mirror and a map, it reflects the emotions that shape us and charts the questions that lead us forward.

 

My name is Tran Ngoc Bao Linh, a 7th grader at Tran Đai Nghia High School for the Gifted, and I find myself as a person who spends too much time thinking about why people are the way that they are.

 

Joining the Inspire Youth Journal writer team feels like stepping into a place where I can turn all that overthinking into something useful. I like connecting dots, expressing my points of view in more academic ways, and trying to explain things that don’t always make sense at first. Publishing here is a significant step for me because it gives me space to think out loud, to learn through writing, both from my own and from others,” said Bao Linh.
