Anh La is a high school Junior at the Saigon South International School and has a strong interest in history, international relations and global affairs, and youth empowerment. After reading the book “I am Malala” in 6th grade, she realized the power of one’s voice in making a change and have since then used debate and writing to inspire Vietnamese youth and young people around the world to engage in discussions on current global issues and become more confident in voicing their opinions. She is also a strong advocate for quality education and fundraises to support the education of children in disadvantaged communities and schools in Vietnam and Cambodia.
