Anh (Kiri) Thai Bao

Newspaper Writer

Newspapers have always been an extension of society, filled with reports and content that range from small, everyday actions, like eating breakfast, to extensive topics such as politics, economics, and the environment. The press acts like the keen eye of an eagle, gliding smoothly across the vast sky, never missing any movements on the ground. It observes both the trivial and significant changes, selects the most pertinent issues, and brings to light the topics that reflect the weight of the times. The pen, a small but powerful instrument, continues this vision. Some may argue that the pen is too sharp, capable of causing harm and tiring those who wield it. However, it is from the tip of that pen that truths are revealed, injustices are addressed, and subtle shifts in society are documented. In an era where everything changes at a rapid pace, the press not only records reality but also serves as the heartbeat of the times, both observing and inspiring change.

“Hello everyone! My name is Thai Bao Anh (Kiri). I am currently in 7th grade at Tran Van On Secondary School in Ho Chi Minh City. I aim to develop positive habits, such as writing for newspapers, to improve my writing skills in various languages. I believe that newspapers are not just platforms for updating information or enhancing skills; they are also spaces for individuals to freely share their opinions and knowledge. Being connected with IYJ and having my articles published is an honor and a source of pride for me. This marks a significant turning point in my journey, as I now have the opportunity to share my thoughts on a variety of topics and work on improving my writing skills,” said Kiri.
