Angelina Te

We are honored to announce Angelina Te as an Honorary Ambassador of our INSPIRE YOUTH JOURNAL – A Global Platform for Youth Journalism!

Angelina Te (she/her) is a 17-year-old high school junior from Long Beach, California, and a passionate advocate for educational equity. She is the founder of Golden Student Bears, a youth-led organization working to close the opportunity gap by sharing college and career resources through a digital magazine and social media. Under her leadership, the organization has reached thousands of students nationwide and gone viral for its accessible, student-focused content.

A lifelong writer, Angelina began journaling at age six and has since published her debut poetry collection, Raw Poems From a Teenage Girl, which explores themes of identity, healing, and adolescence. Her forthcoming memoir reflects on her experiences growing up Cambodian-American in a low-income household, and she is also developing several young adult fiction projects.

Angelina plans to pursue a career in child psychology or counseling to support the mental health and growth of young people navigating complex life transitions.

Congratulations, Angelina Te!

She has recently been accepted into UC Berkeley, Class of 2023, and we are immensely proud of her.
