
Chau (Morgan) Dinh

Morgan Dinh is a Vietnamese high school student with a deep passion for writing and a keen interest in global affairs, politics, and economics. She enjoys helping younger students discover their voice through speech and debate, and loves staying curious about our changing world through reading and research. When she’s not following global developments, Morgan is often lost in fiction, exploring imagined worlds as a way to better understand her own.
Her major achievements:
- Awarded the Degree of Distinction by the National Speech and Debate Association, with over 100 service hours dedicated to mentoring and expanding access to debate education.
- Planned and led 20+ in-person debate lessons for middle school students from Vietnamese public and homeschooling backgrounds, bridging accessibility gaps and building youth public speaking confidence.
- Achieved 3rd place in two consecutive years at Vietnam’s National NSDA Qualifier and placed 1st and 2nd in school-level debate tournaments.
- Completed ABRSM Grade 8 in piano performance and is currently pursuing the Associate of the Royal Schools of Music (ARSM) diploma.
- Winner of 2nd and 3rd place at the Singapore International Piano Competition, and finalist at the Ho Chi Minh City Young Musician Competition.
- Recipient of multiple academic excellence awards in English, History, and Science throughout middle and high school.
- Consistently named to the High Honor Roll for academic achievement.
