The interview with Hadisa Zahirzai was conducted by Anh La (Elsa) on October 18, 2025.

Hadisa Zahirzai is a female Afghan student at Temple University. She is also a Newspaper Writer and an Honorary Ambassador of Inspire Youth Journal.

Anh La is the Founder and President of Empowering Afghan Girls and Young Women Through Public Forum Debate, established in 2024. The organization has partnered with Afghans for Progressive Thinking (APT) and several other groups to teach Public Forum debate and English to Afghan girls and young women. Anh La has also been invited to speak at multiple events, including the John Locke Institute 2023 Global Essay Prize Gala Dinner and Conference; the ASEAN Youth Volunteer Forum 2025; Nigeria Innovating Her Way 2025; Pakistan Global Impact Webinar 2025; the Ghana Writers’ Craft Clinic 2025; and Ghana Ink and Intellect 2024.
