Welcome to the Inspire Youth Journal, a global platform for youth journalism. We are a monthly publication showcasing outstanding articles by talented students worldwide on current global issues, reaching a diverse youth readership.
With a multicultural team of over 140 writers from more than 40 countries—including the UK, US, Vietnam, India, Ghana, Nigeria, and many others—we celebrate diverse perspectives. Nearly 70 of our talented writers have received remarkable recognition in prestigious competitions, including the John Locke Institute’s Global Essay Prize, the Queen’s Commonwealth Essay Competition, the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards, and other esteemed contests.
At Inspire Youth Journal, we believe in empowering young voices through informed perspectives on international affairs. Our monthly themes encourage exploration and dialogue on significant topics affecting youth today.

Welcome to the Inspire Youth Journal’s April edition! This is our sixteenth published edition with articles by Aarna Kapadia, Anh La, Braelyn Burris, Chi Anh (Amber) Ta, Darray Robinson, Elza Elif Mehdiyev, Fikry Muraza, Ingrid Tang, Ken-Nhat Hoang, Lucie Kealey, Minh Le Nguyen Tuyet, Moon Tran, Morgan Dinh, Phu Hoang, SaiShruthi Avutapalli, Trinh Nguyen, Teu-Khanh Phuong, and Truong Bao Ngoc.
Firstly, the journal explores (1) the often overlooked jobs of waste-pickers and digital annotators, (2) the continued relevance of brutalist architecture, (3) climate author Rune Kier Nielsen’s advice on how the youth can contribute to the climate battle with their activism, and many more. We hope this edition’s articles and puzzles are enjoyed by all of our readers, with a wide range of topics in each article. From callout culture to the opportunities of telemedicine, articles delve into topics that affect people around the globe.
