RELEASING INSPIRE YOUTH JOURNAL’S 13th EDITION!

INSPIRE YOUTH JOURNAL, a Global Platform for Youth Journalism, is a monthly newspaper serving a worldwide youth audience, providing insightful coverage of current events and global issues.

Our global team includes over 120 writers from more than 40 countries, including the United Kingdom, United States, Vietnam, India, and many others. Nearly seventy of our writers have received top awards in prestigious essay competitions such as the John Locke Institute’s Global Essay Prize, the Queen’s Commonwealth Essay Competition, the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards, and other prestigious competitions.

We aim to equip young people with knowledge and understanding of global affairs through diverse monthly topics.

Inspire Youth Journal’s first edition of 2025, the January Edition, is out now! This month we have articles by twenty-five different writers: Aarna Kapadia, Arseniy Borisov, Bidisha Gogoi, Darray Robinson, Hai Lam (Apple) Ngoc, Hoang Nam Phu, Ken-Nhat Hoang, Leonela Sedano, Lithesha Elangesan, Lunnie Rosingham, Mahathi Sathish, Mahin Kashyap, Mercy Olanrewaju, Minh Le Nguyen Tuyet, Minseo Kang, Nguyen Tran, Oshiokenoya Imuekemhe, Sadia Sultana, Sharvanth Saravanan, Teu-Khanh Phuong, Varunika V., Vedika Jain, Yaksh Dharod, and Zak Adams.
 
In this edition, we explore topics such as (1) how 21 U.S. Code § 856 is preventing the implementation of safe injection sites, which can be argued to significantly help drug users and prevent overdose, (2) the conclusions reached during COP29 as well as their impacts, (3) a study on mouse brain patterns which may help us learn more about treating depression, and many more. With a wide range of topics, we hope all of our readers this month can learn something new on any of these important subjects.
